at Presentation Solutions are very proud of this site, but we are much
more proud of what is really the heart and soul of our company - our
people. In this world of impersonal and automated transactions, we believe
that people still want to deal with people - real, live people who take
pride in their company, their products, and in helping customers get
the right solutions for their needs. While in today's "new economy"
these ideals may seem a bit old-fashioned, a quick visit to our "awards"

History
Presentation
Solutions was founded in 1990 by then-23 year old entrepreneur Joe C.
Powell and his mother, Carol. We started out with two desks and one
telephone in a corner of the
basement of Carol's house, and used the laundry room and one-car garage
as warehouse space! The company carried only one product line back then,
a large-format Poster Printer from Varitronics (which is still one of
our best-sellers today!). As we grew in both number of employees and
product lines carried, we quickly outgrew "the basement",
and in 1995 built and moved into Presentation Solutions' current Corporate
Headquarters (right), located in "downtown" Buckner, Kentucky.
Today,
the company has 20 employees, four product divisions, and branch territories
in Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Nashville,
Tennessee.
Philosophy
Presentation Solutions has succeeded
because we really do care about our customers. We feel that happy customers
turn into repeat customers, and that is what we want. We also realize
that in order to have repeat customers, we need to keep you happy! Although
this seems like common sense, it is astounding how many companies really
don't care about anything other than making an immediate sale. Our people
will help you determine what you really need, give you a fair price,
and then train you on how to use the equipment after you buy it! In
addition, if you should ever have a problem, we make your problem into
our problem, and we will do everything we can to solve it expeditiously
and to your satisfaction. This philosophy not only helps us win new
customers, it also helps us turn those new customers into long-term
repeat customers!
Product
Divisions
Presentation
Solutions has four separate divisions, each concentrating on a particular
product and / or market. This allows our people in each division to
become an expert on that product and market, which is exactly the
type of person that we would want to deal with if we needed something!
Additionally, by focusing our product offerings on only the top manufacturers
in each industry, we have become one of the top dealers in the country
for each of the manufacturers whom we represent!
Our
four divisions consist of the following: LCD MultiMedia Projectors;
Varitronics Poster Printers (a line of push-button, large format printers);
Industrial Labeling and Signage Systems from Brady Signmark; and our
newest division, Presentation Services, where we create PowerPoint
Presentations for customers and / or teach them to create their own
presentations!

at Presentation Solutions know that we do everything we can to take
care of our customers, so it's really nice when outside agencies reaffirm
that there really is "something special" about our company!
We show these awards to you here so that you may see the caliber of
the organization with which you are dealing. After all, with the great
dot-com fallout that is taking place, it is important to know that
Presentation Solutions is a company you can trust. That is why, of
all the awards we have received, we consider being named one of only
eight National Finalists for the Better Business Bureau's Torch Award
for Marketplace Ethics as the greatest honor that we could receive!
